Manual QA

Role Overview: You are an experienced Manual QA Senior QA Analyst joining the Quality Assurance team at Myridius. Your role involves executing various types of manual testing, developing test plans and strategies, improving QA processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior testers. Key Responsibilities: - Execute manual testing types including functional, smoke, regression, end-to-end, and integration testing. - Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, and related QA documentation. - Apply strong understanding of QA lifecycle: test planning, analysis, execution, and defect tracking. - Implement and document QA process improvements focused on reusability and standardization. - Apply test design techniques effectively and consistently. - Collaborate with QA team members, developers, BAs, SMEs, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment. - Conduct defect triage meetings, walkthroughs, and lead client-facing QA discussions. - Ensure timely execution of testing activities throughout the SDLC to prevent project disruptions. - Assist QA Manager with metrics, reporting, and status updates. - Proactively identify and flag risks or quality concerns, helping to resolve them efficiently. - Coach and mentor junior QA team members; perform peer reviews on test artifacts. - Exhibit strong knowledge of the defect lifecycle and work effectively within Agile environments. - Utilize test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, qTest, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, etc. - Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal). - Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple concurrent tasks. Qualification Required: - Minimum 5 years experience in manual testing for UI-based applications. - Strong experience in test planning, requirement analysis, test design, and execution. - At least 2 years experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. - At least 2 years" hands-on experience with test management tools, preferably Jira. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality. - Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
