Responsibilities of the role include having a good understanding of testing concepts and terminologies, creating test plans and test case documents, executing test cases for all testing phases, reporting defects promptly, past experience in testing web applications, conducting compatibility testing across browsers and devices, basic understanding of programming languages (J2EE), and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams on various assigned tasks. Skills required for this role encompass excellent verbal and written communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, being a team player, and having worked in an Agile Development Model. Candidates with a B.Tech or M.Tech degree are preferred, and holding an ISTQB certification would be considered an added advantage.
