You are seeking a Manual Jewelry Designer who is proficient in creating hand-sketched jewelry designs. With at least 1 year of experience, you should have a keen eye for aesthetics, creativity, and a thorough understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and trends. Key Responsibilities: - Understand jewelry forms, proportions, and details through manual drawing. - Produce hand-drawn sketches of various jewelry pieces based on design briefs and client specifications. - Generate innovative design concepts in line with the brand's identity and current market trends. - Collaborate with designers, model makers, and production teams to ensure the practicality of designs. - Select suitable stones, metals, and materials for each design. - Maintain a portfolio of manual sketches and concepts. - Refine existing designs based on feedback. - Stay updated on jewelry styles, fashion trends, and market developments. - Ensure designs meet quality and craftsmanship standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proficient in hand-sketching jewelry designs. - Capable of designing using raw hand skills, without relying on CAD or design software. - Possess a Diploma or Degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or related field. - Minimum of 1 year experience in manual jewelry designing. - Strong hand-sketching and illustration skills using pencils, markers, or watercolor. - Good knowledge of stones, settings, metal types, and jewelry manufacturing processes. - Excellent sense of proportion, symmetry, and detailing. - Ability to visualize designs in 3D and translate concepts into sketches. - Familiarity with Indian and international jewelry trends. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications (Optional): - Experience working with luxury jewelry brands or export houses. - Basic knowledge of CAD software like Rhino or Matrix would be advantageous. - Portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles.
