Manual Designer (Diamond)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and imaginative Manual Jewellery Designer with a strong understanding of diamond and fine jewellery design. The candidate will be responsible for creating hand-sketched designs that reflect current market trends, client preferences, and brand aesthetics. The ideal designer should possess excellent visualization skills and knowledge of manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create hand-drawn jewellery designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, bangles, and necklaces.
• Work closely with CAD designers, merchandisers, and production teams to convert sketches into manufacturable products.
• Develop new concepts and seasonal collections in line with brand direction and customer demand.
• Visualize and sketch innovative diamond jewellery pieces with detailed stone placement and proportions.
• Revise designs based on feedback from clients, management, or technical teams.
• Maintain an organized portfolio of designs and references for future use.
• Stay updated with global jewellery design trends, diamond cuts, and consumer preferences.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create visually appealing catalog designs and custom orders.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Manual Designer in the diamond/jewellery industry.
• Strong sketching and rendering skills using pencils, markers, or watercolor techniques.
• Excellent sense of creativity, proportion, and detailing in diamond jewellery.
• Knowledge of different jewellery styles (bridal, daily wear, high-end luxury).
• Understanding of diamond settings, metal types, and manufacturing limitations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation:

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹60,000 per month (depending on experience)
