About The/Nudge

The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals, and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.

Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator, and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover, and more.

Set up support from 100+ eminent philanthropists, 40+ corporates, and 15+ foundations including the Gates Foundation, Mackenzie Scott, Vinod Khosla, Nandan Nilekani, Tata Trusts, Skoll, Meta, LinkedIn, HDFC Bank, Mphasis, KPMG and L'Oreal, we are contributing towards a poverty-free India, within our lifetime.

About the team:

The alliance's team at The/Nudge drives meaningful strategic partnerships with central and state governments to scale livelihood opportunities for the poor.

What will you do

• learn our programs well to represent our work to various stakeholders in the government
• design the overall strategy & goals for the Government Alliances team
• create and manage networks and relationships within the government to support the identification and scaling of livelihood opportunities
• develop targeted and compelling messaging tailored to each category of government stakeholders across different platforms (website, whatsapp etc)
• balance short-term results while enabling long-term goals
• collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to drive results
• build and manage a lean high-performance team
• represent The/Nudge in ecosystem events, as needed

What are we looking for in the role

• high energy, passion, and hunger for doing impactful work
• intrapreneurial leadership style, with a growth and learning mindset
• natural comfort with a high-intensity, fast-paced environment
• intellectually curious, well-read, and willing to learn
• willingness to travel extensively within India
• prior experience in working with the government mandatory

Who are we looking for

• 15+ years of total experience, with 10+ years in go-to-market roles like business development, partnerships, and preferably 5+ years of working with government
