Manager, Warehouse & Distribution

As a Material Management Specialist, your role involves planning and controlling inventories of raw materials and packaging materials to meet production requirements. You will coordinate with Purchase and Quality Control teams to ensure timely availability and release of materials. Additionally, you will oversee the receipt, storage, and dispensing of materials in compliance with SOPs, MSDS, and safety requirements. It will be your responsibility to manage the return, rejection, and destruction of non-conforming materials following established procedures. Your key responsibilities include: - Planning and controlling inventories of raw materials and packaging materials - Coordinating with Purchase and Quality Control teams - Ensuring compliance with SOPs, MSDS, and safety requirements - Managing return, rejection, and destruction of non-conforming materials In terms of compliance and documentation, you will be required to prepare, review, implement, and update departmental SOPs. Training and developing warehouse team members on SOPs and cGMP compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to ensure the integrity and accuracy of cGMP and statutory records and lead change controls, deviations, and CAPA processes. Your qualifications should include: - Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and warehouse compliance systems - Expertise in documentation, record integrity, and data review - Ability to interpret data and conduct statistical analysis - Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills - Proven track record of managing audits and regulatory inspections For education, a B.Sc. / B. Pharma degree is preferred, while a B.Com or equivalent is acceptable. You should have 15-20 years of experience in warehouse & distribution, preferably in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry. As an additional responsibility, you may be required to raise indents for materials/services and prepare Capex proposals when necessary, manage departmental inventory effectively, and participate in technical workshops/seminars to explore new technologies and best practices in warehouse management. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient management of materials within the warehouse and distribution processes, maintaining compliance with regulations, and fostering continuous improvement in operations.,
