Manager US Tax 1041 Estates and Gift Tax

As a Manager in Trusts and Estates at Citrin Cooperman, you will be responsible for assisting clients with 1041 Trusts and Estates, reviewing U.S. tax returns specifically related to 1041 Trusts and Estates, managing engagement workflow, team resources, and billing, as well as mentoring and developing junior team members. Your role will also involve conducting tax research independently, training staff, supervising their progress, and building strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and colleagues in the U.S. To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to conduct independent tax research for unforeseen tax scenarios, exhibit strong communication skills, and have fluency in English (both written and spoken). You should be open to learning new tax software, be a quick learner, exhibit enthusiasm, maintain a positive demeanor, and work effectively as a team player. During busy seasons, you should be prepared to work long hours, meet deadlines efficiently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with ease. Your qualifications should include being a Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or IRS Enrolled Agent, along with more than 8 years of relevant experience with a focus on 1041 Trusts and Estates. You should have expertise in conducting detailed reviews of tax returns and be familiar with tax software such as CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, and Case ware. Additionally, you should be adept at guiding subordinates through technical challenges, training and supervising staff, and developing strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
