Manager US Tax 1041 Estates and Gift Tax

Role Overview: As a Manager in Trusts and Estates at Citrin Cooperman, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with 1041 Trusts and Estates. You will also be in charge of reviewing U.S. tax returns specifically related to 1041 Trusts and Estates. Additionally, you will be managing engagement workflow, team resources, and billing. A key aspect of your role will involve mentoring and developing junior team members. You will be expected to conduct tax research independently, provide training to staff, supervise their progress, and cultivate strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and colleagues in the U.S. Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients with 1041 Trusts and Estates - Review U.S. tax returns related to 1041 Trusts and Estates - Manage engagement workflow, team resources, and billing - Mentor and develop junior team members - Conduct tax research independently - Provide training to staff and supervise their progress - Build strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, and colleagues in the U.S. Qualifications Required: - Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (US), or IRS Enrolled Agent - More than 8 years of relevant experience with a focus on 1041 Trusts and Estates - Expertise in conducting detailed reviews of tax returns - Familiarity with tax software such as CCh Axcess Tax, Gofile room, and CaseWare - Ability to guide subordinates through technical challenges - Experience in training and supervising staff - Strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels Additional Company Details: Join Citrin Cooperman's dynamic team and leverage your skills and experience to make a significant impact in the field of Trusts and Estates management.,
