Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a software development team through the complete agile software development lifecycle from planning and design to delivery and maintenance.
- Partner with Product Management, Design, and Customer Teams to define and implement modern, strategic solutions.
- Collaborate with other development managers to prioritize, evaluate, and deliver optimized technical solutions.
- Drive project planning, milestone tracking, and transparent progress reporting to leadership.
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement through mentoring and metrics-driven feedback.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, testing, deployment, and DevOps.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 10years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience.
- Proven technical project management and leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise software development and architectural design.
- Hands-on experience in web development (HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Vue).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python), with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Experience with automated testing, code quality, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Deep understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and best engineering practices.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in an Agile environment and manage cross-site teams.
