Key Responsibilities As the Manager - Electrical Design & Detailing , youll take ownership of end-to-end electrical engineering for large EPC power plant projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Leading basic and detailed electrical design engineering. Preparing Electrical Load Lists and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs). Performing sizing calculations for transformers, cables, switchgear, UPS systems, etc. Designing control schematics and block logic diagrams. Selecting protection relays, CTs, PTs, and preparing interconnection summaries. Supporting vendor coordination and site-level technical assistance. Troubleshooting faults during testing and commissioning phases. Collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a reputed university with good CGPA or class rank. Minimum 8-15 years in Electrical Engineering roles, preferably with EPC or consulting firms. Proven experience in large-scale projects like Coal-fired, Combined Cycle Power Plants, Oil & Gas, or Chemical plants. Technical Skills: Electrical Design Engineering Basic & Detailed Equipment Sizing & Cable Selection Control Schematics & Logic Diagram Preparation Interconnect Summaries for Panels & DCS Testing & Commissioning of HV/MV/LV systems Protection Relay Setting & Coordination Vendor Interaction & Technical Documentation Troubleshooting Electrical Systems Why This Role Matters: Drive the electrical design for complex, high-impact power plant projects.
