About the Role

We re looking for a Manager SDET who will be hands-on with automation architecture, while also mentoring and leading a team of high-performing engineers. This role is 70 80% technical and ideal for someone ready to step into a player-coach position driving innovation in test engineering while owning delivery quality and scaling test automation efforts.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and build robust, scalable test automation frameworks and tools.
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define test strategies, plans, and success metrics.
Lead QA/SDET team guiding their work, mentoring on best practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Own test automation pipelines and contribute to CI/CD integration and optimization.
Drive performance, security, and integration testing initiatives.
Analyze test results and metrics, identify quality trends, and ensure quick turnaround on issue resolution.
Continually evaluate and introduce new tools and processes to improve product quality and team efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in software development/test engineering.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL .
Proven expertise with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG ).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, CircleCI ).
Hands-on experience using agentic frameworks and generative AI to automate QA and software development through intelligent test generation, execution, and decision-making.
Familiarity with performance and security testing tools.
Prior experience leading/mentoring engineers or managing teams.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
