Manager, SCM COE Sourcing Hub

Role Overview: As a Supply Chain Management (SCM) candidate at Standard Chartered, you will be responsible for managing the Bank's engagement and spending with external third-party vendors. Your role will involve collaborating with various business functions to support key priorities and executing sourcing activities to negotiate favorable commercial outcomes. You will also be accountable for end-to-end vendor onboarding and contributing to the overall achievement of functional objectives in areas such as Commercial Value, TPRM, and Sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and update sourcing strategies focusing on commercial value generation, TPRM, and sustainability aligned with the Bank's strategy - Optimize end-to-end supply chain management to increase deal commercial value and manage risks efficiently - Establish and achieve project timelines, commercial goals, and stakeholder engagement strategies - Lead complex deal negotiations and influence buy decisions to meet or exceed savings targets - Collaborate with the wider SCM team to ensure effective service delivery and embed the Sustainability agenda into contracts - Manage strategic vendors in accordance with the Vendor Management process and stakeholder needs - Drive process changes to simplify the sourcing process and support governance within the assigned portfolio of Third Party Risk Management activities Qualifications Required: - Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Law - Professional Memberships: CIPS or similar desirable - Previous experience in Financial Services is an advantage About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to driving commerce and prosperity through diversity and inclusion.
