As an Underwriter in the mortgage business at the assigned branch/location, your primary responsibility will be to underwrite mortgage business and manage the portfolio. You will review and assess a wide range of complex loan applications within defined guidelines, underwrite proposals in accordance with policies and procedures, conduct personal discussions with customers to determine creditworthiness, maintain various MIS reports, build effective relationships with third parties, exceed service quality standards, and ensure quick turnaround time for credit lending proposals.
