Manager Quality Control

Desired Candidate Profile

• Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and protocols for new projects or changes to existing ones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• 10-15 years of experience in a similar role in the Steel equipment Or Steel making industry.
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Mechanical or Metallurgy from a recognized institution.
• ASNT Level II certification in various NDT methods (UT, RT, MT).
• Strong understanding of welding processes, materials science, and fabrication techniques.
• Preparing & Maintaining the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) respect to International Standards.
• Welder Qualification Records (WQR) respect to International Standards.
• Checking and reporting the stage of inspection. i.e. Fit-up, in-process and final.
• Documenting the stage inspection reports and NDT.
• Coordinating with production and quality team for lineup the inspection.
• Training & mentoring for developing welders on quality standards and inspection criteria.
• Conduct the CFT meeting to eliminate the welding related issues.
• Welding feasibility study / sequencing and welding-map preparation.
• Reviewing the customer requirement and preparing the inspection plan.

• NDT VT, PT, MT, UT & RT ( Min. level -2 )
