Manager- Product Engineering

As a Manager - Product Engineering at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the commercial viability of our products. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives that contribute to the product's success by collaborating closely with Technology, Operations, Onboarding, Servicing, and other partner teams. - Conducting end-to-end product reviews, identifying key dependencies, business improvement opportunities, and implementing risk mitigation strategies when necessary. - Providing quality management reporting, creating product presentations, and tracking benefits. - Developing marketing materials, designing campaigns, and conducting market research in collaboration with regional and country product teams and other stakeholders. - Ensuring that all requirements are aligned with strategic objectives, existing operating models, and recording any exceptions for review. - Associating suitable benefits with each requirement and establishing ownership and success criteria for all requirements. The qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience in project management, requirement analysis, business case development, risk management, and marketing support. - Strong analytical skills to interpret customer and operational needs, analyze complex problems, and develop creative solutions. - Ability to conduct effective workshops and trainings for client business users. - Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, reconciling variances, and recommending proposals to senior stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to pivot quickly in response to new information or changing circumstances. - Proactive approach with the capability to offer clear, timely analysis and recommendations to senior management, build trusted relationships, and collaborate effectively at all levels. - Commercial acumen and experience in product management, including product commercialization, governance, or risk management.
