Manager - PPC

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

1. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.
2. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
3. Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
4. Identify bottlenecks and take corrective actions to optimize production efficiency.

Raw Material Planning & Inventory Control

1. Plan and control raw material requirements based on production schedules.
2. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of materials.
3. Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
4. Ensure RM availability through periodic stock review and vendor follow-ups.

Customer Requirement Management

1. Understand customer schedules, forecasts, and delivery expectations.
2. Align production plans with customer demand while ensuring timely deliveries.
3. Regularly coordinate with the Sales & Customer Service team for requirement updates.

Finished Goods Planning & Stock Management

1. Maintain accurate FG inventory as per production and dispatch plans.
2. Implement effective FIFO and inventory management practices.
3. Ensure dispatch readiness and availability of finished goods for timely delivery.

MIS, Reporting & Documentation

1. Maintain PPC-related MIS, production reports, and daily monitoring sheets.
2. Analyze production data and suggest improvements in planning or process efficiency.
3. Manage ERP/SAP entries related to planning, inventory, and scheduling.
