Manager - Packing

Role Overview: As a Manager in the Packing & Dispatch department at Andritz in Mandideep, Bhopal, your primary purpose is to develop as the second lead in packing, supervising and coordinating packing activities. You will be a part of the white-collar team, contributing to the success of the company in the hydropower sector. Key Responsibilities: - Develop as the second line in Packing - Monitor and control packing operations - Create Purchase Requisitions for packing activity - Follow up with vendors - Allocate manpower and monitor activities - Coordinate packaging at vendor end - Ensure timely preparation of documentation for delivery such as Packing list & other respective documents - Coordinate with Logistics for optimum utilization & timely placement of vehicles - Monitor and adhere to Monthly On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets - Maintain safety at the workplace - Coordinate for Drawing for Packing Box (Project Based) Qualification Required: - Sound experience as an end-user of SAP - Good communication within the team - Proficient in MS Office software - Ability to take responsibilities and ownership - Strong command of MS Excel - Positive approach towards adopting new technologies - Good knowledge about packing in heavy Engineering Co. - Assertiveness Additional Details: Andritz is a global company delivering successful innovative solutions to customers worldwide.
