Job Profile: Manager New Product Development and Technical Services Location: Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh Qualification: Graduate in Science preferably Chemical, Material Science, Polymer Science, or Packaging. Experience: 12 to 16 years of relevant experience. Preferred Industry Background: Primary Packaging products with pharmaceutical end applications, FMCG. Key Requirements: Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging applications, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements (US FDA, DMF). Proven experience in New Product Development for Pharma, Nutraceuticals, FMCG, Agro, Lubricants, etc. Excellent technical communication skills including report writing, presentations, stage/gate documentation, and technical data analysis. Strong knowledge of materials such as foil, paper, plastic films, adhesives, etc. Process knowledge of printing, lamination, extrusion, and material testing methods/tools. Experience in statistical analysis and using tools like Minitab and Excel for data interpretation. Proficiency in Hindi and English (spoken, read, and written). Ability to travel PAN India as required. Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred). Key Responsibilities: Lead the conceptualization and development of induction heat seal solutions for pharmaceutical and FMCG customers. Identify potential products based on market needs and lead their development. Strategize, plan, and execute New Product Development (NPD) projects. Ensure the development of prototypes, feasibility assessments (including materials, machines, and costing), and conduct trials for customer and manufacturing validation. Drive successful commercialization of NPD projects to achieve annual sales and growth targets. Track project timelines, ensuring timely execution of all NPD phases including stability, material development, manufacturing, and launch. Lead the packaging development team to ensure timely delivery of packaging documentation and artworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as quality, supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure smooth NPD execution. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships and provide technical support during customer meetings, trials, and exhibitions. Strengthen existing customer partnerships and contribute to new business alliances. Develop, modify, and implement SOPs and documentation related to product development and lifecycle management. Conduct design of experiments (DOE), testing, statistical analysis (ANOVA), and validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ). Work closely with Quality Assurance on vendor validation and qualification processes. Prepare and deliver product training sessions and technical presentations. Organize and conduct regular project meetings to track progress and ensure alignment. Key Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint for technical documentation and presentations. Ability to analyze and interpret complex material and packaging test results. Experience in advanced analytical techniques including DSC, TGA, DMA, IR, NIR, GC-MS, microscopy, and seal strength testing. Working knowledge of biodegradable/compostable materials, biomaterials, and product fill line processes. Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills. Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
