Manager - Networking & Operations

As a Network Manager in the Information Technology department, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of the organization's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of networking systems to support the flow of information within and outside the company. By collaborating with IT staff and other departments, you will ensure that the network meets current needs and is scalable for future requirements. Your strategic planning and effective management will support the organization's goals by ensuring uninterrupted network services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, network segments, and Internet and intranet systems for high data availability and network performance. - Lead the planning, design, implementation, and management of network infrastructure across multiple locations. - Manage and maintain network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. - Implement and maintain network security measures like firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems to protect data and systems. - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with IT teams for seamless integration of network services with other systems. - Document network configurations, changes, and procedures. - Allocate network resources, manage subnetting, and configure VLANs for performance and security optimization. - Manage a team of network engineers, providing guidance and mentorship. - Achieve and maintain high Employee Engagement within the internal and external team functions. - Achieve and maintain high customer satisfaction on services provided by the Networking function. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in IT/computer science or equivalent. - Strong experience in installing and configuring Cisco & Meraki devices. - Expertise in network protocols, routing, segmentation, and switching. - Experience with network security practices, wireless technologies, LAN/WAN, SDWAN, and cloud networking. - Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. - Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). This role requires you to be proficient in network management, security, and optimization to ensure a stable and efficient environment for business operations and communication.
