Job Description

• Analyse departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions. Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems. Knowledge in MES & ERP Technologies. Creating and implementing the organizations IT policy and best practice manuals Creating workshops and training programmes for staff Performing routine system audits Running routine system operations reports and sharing them with top employees. Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions. Analyse processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement. Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs. Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed. Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups. Dealing with server crashes, setting up new servers, removing old hardware or streamlining IT systems. Managing information technology and computer systems. Controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations. Managing IT staff. Designing, developing, implementing and coordinating systems, policies and procedures. Ensuring data security, network access and backup systems. Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions. Auditing systems and assessing their outcomes.
