Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility of planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through completion.
- Manage projects; Plan, coordinate (internal, external, & customer) and ensure completion on schedule & budget.
- Outcome/Business benefits/KPI driven approach. Governance enablement (Program and Financials) too.
- Drive project governance, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Deep CXO Alignment and vigilance for future business Opportunities.
- An ability of managing various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery/assurance, Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Excellent reporting/communication approach with various entities.
- Acting as a bridge between upper management and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project.
- Provide direction and coaching on project specific tasks. Strong process/training approach externally/internally.
- Setup PMO. Develop & implement processes for PM teams to complete activities to current policies and practices; keep documentation organized; identify process improvements.
- Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, and Safety Documentation to ensure operational consistency.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and ensure timely approvals through a predefined process/mechanism.
- Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external standards and compliance requirements and ensure readiness for audit all the time.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills including an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrated team leadership and strong influencer with the ability to drive decision making across multiple stakeholders at all levels
- Adapt in understanding and choosing the best fit methodology from Agile, Waterfall or a Hybrid.
- Escalation/Exception management and resolution plan at project level.
- Change Management with plan, cost, timelines and standard deviation record.
- Service/Account Management throughout project duration.
- Co-ordination with vendors for procurement of IoT & Network Devices.
- Onboarding of Resource Partners for installations and field activities. Coordination of in-house and vendor resources for competent project staffing.
- Supervision & Validation of on field Deployments.
- User Testing of data flow into systems
- Technical Review of the developed User Interface.
- Tracking timelines and ensuring milestone submissions as per schedule of program.
- Identifying, compiling and addressing risks & issues at program level. Preparing Risk register, assessment and mitigation plan at project level.
- Managing day to day communication across all stakeholders - Client, vendors, solution, application and engineering teams.
- Capturing and Reporting on Weekly and Monthly basis.
- Facilitate and update Report for Steering Committee Meetings.
- First point of contact for Client in case of any challenges / issues.
- Assessing customer feedback and suggests ways to improve delivery and quality.
- Practice a culture of continuous improvement, operational discipline, and safety compliance.
Desired Skill Set (Must Have)
- A strong strategic orientation with CxO/Leads management abilities. Having an impetus on outcome/business benefits
- Should be acted as a strong personality with an amalgamation of domain and softer skills. Should have managed multiple & complex programs.
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / IT/ Telecommunication / Industrial Engineering from a recognized University.
- Working experience of 7-14 years in program management, preferably IoT Project.
- Experience with Project Management Tools and Methodologies.
- Ability to create project documentation like Project Charter, Success Criteria, Requirements/Scope documentation, Project Plan, Lessons Learned, Risk Register, Change Log, Communication Plan etc.
- Proven track record of IOT delivery, liaising with cross-functional project teams in a complex and changing environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Fluent in English (written, verbal and presentation). An ability to communicate fluently in English with varied stakeholders to collect requirements, describe and clarify strategy, specify solution features and refine technical designs.
- Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
- Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources and functions
- o Sound understanding of financial concepts like Capex, Opex, ROI etc. and ability to develop and Track Budgets and Financials. Focus on Outcome orientation.
- Good understanding of functional and non-functional requirements to ascertain customer needs and define user stories.
- Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and ensure SLA adherence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on proactive issue resolution.
Desired Skill Set(Good To Have)
- IOT & PN- understanding of IoT system architecture, implementation, and integration workflows.
- Project Management (PMP/Prince2) related certifications .
- Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified Scrum Master.
- Participation in Digital Transformation initiatives.
