Manager Indirect Taxation

As an experienced professional in the field of Indirect taxation, your role will involve participating in engagements and compliances related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Customs. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing assigned engagements by preparing and assisting with return filing and report generation - Building internal networks to understand service line offerings and identify potential opportunities - Identifying technical issues during data review and bringing discrepancies or additional data requirements to the team's attention - Ensuring timely filing and tracking of tax returns for assigned clients - Assisting with tax audits, tax research, and other special projects as needed Additionally, you will be expected to conduct thorough research for clients using all available tools and resources to deliver effective results. It is essential to have: - 6 to 8 years of experience in Indirect tax with prior insight into GST, Customs, and other Indirect taxation areas such as Sales Tax, Service Tax, and Central Excise - Regular participation in technical trainings and knowledge sharing sessions within the team - Proficiency in MS Office - Strong interpersonal skills for effective client communication and interaction - Energetic and innovative approach with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen Your skills should include proficiency in MS Office, strong communication skills, knowledge of Customs and tax research, experience in tax audits and return filing, and good interpersonal skills. Your expertise in Indirect taxation, including GST, Sales Tax, and Service Tax, will be valuable in this role.,
