Job Description

Role & responsibilities Financial Reporting and Business Performance Analysis : Accurate and Timely compilation of MIS Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly 2 Pager Reports and monthly/ quarterly MD&A. Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs for executive leadership. Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance, identifying key drivers of financial results. Prepare/ Review Delta or Spread Analysis of each business with Industry etc. Conduct operational excellence and benchmarking studies. Strict monitoring of Cost across business verticals. Prepare/ Review Working Capital Analysis and monitoring against target. Prepare/ Review of Capex Projects, Payback, IRR and monitoring of monthly/ quarterly Capex Spends against budget. Planning and Budgeting, Forecasting and Variance Analysis : Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring comprehensive and realistic budget plans. Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to the executive team. Review periodic financial forecasts, ensuring they reflect current business conditions. Conduct thorough variance analysis to understand deviations from budget and forecast. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies. Support strategic decision-making with in-depth financial analysis and modeling. Drive the annual strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. M&A and Transformation Project: M&A Valuation across businesses including financial due diligence and integration planning. Support in implementation and monitoring of Transformation Projects Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function. Leverage technology and tools to improve financial planning and analysis capabilities (SAP, Workday & Other digital Tools). Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and other senior leaders. Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly and effectively. Preferred candidate profile CA/ ICWA with minimum 3-7 years of experience with manufacturing company (preferably petrochemical industry). Experience in financial analysis, planning, and budgeting. Candidates with prior experience of GCC and EMEA time shift will be given preference. Proficient in financial modeling, Excel and basic knowledge of SAP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate financial insights to stakeholders. EMEA time shift (CST).
