About The Job

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, or a related field)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in flight data analysis, specifically for Airbus commercial aircraft
  

Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in FOQA/FDM tools such as Airbus FDA, Analysis Ground Station, Cassiope, Flightscape /Insight, or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of avionics systems, flight phases, and Airbus operational logic, with preference for A320 Family and A350 aircraft
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools including Python, SQL, Power BI, MATLAB, R, and Microsoft Office
• Prior experience with the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in flight data analysis is desirable
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 13 investigation procedures and human factors analysis

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and reporting of Flight Data Monitoring (FDM/FOQA) for Airbus A320 and A350 fleets.
• Identify safety trends and systemic risks and propose actionable recommendations.
• Provide detailed flight data insights to support safety investigations.
• Design flight data models, exceedance detection logic, and interactive dashboards.
• Guide and mentor analysts while standardizing reporting methodologies.
• Communicate key findings to senior leadership, safety review boards, and regulatory authorities.
• Partner with operational teams to evaluate and refine flight procedures.
• Champion innovation in predictive analytics and big data applications.
• Ensure adherence to DGCA-India, EASA, ICAO, and internal Safety Management System (SMS) standards.
