Manager Finance and Demand Planning

As a Demand Forecasting and Planning specialist, your primary responsibility is to analyse demand and create consensus-based forecasts at the SKU level monthly. You will utilize trending/statistical techniques, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, and conduct market trend analysis to ensure forecast accuracy and prevent negative impacts on customer replenishment or inventory. Your role in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) involves managing the financial aspects of demand planning. This includes assessing the financial impact of demand fluctuations on the company's performance, creating financial models and scenarios, and integrating demand data into financial projections, budgets, and variance analysis with the finance team. In the area of Inventory Planning, you will collaborate with Enterprise Planning and Operations (EPO) teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts while adhering to inventory holding norms. Regularly reviewing and balancing inventory, identifying excess inventory, and working with finance and sales to address obsolescence concerns are essential tasks. As part of Divisional PL Controlling, your focus will be on overseeing Profit and Loss (PL) statements from an FP&A perspective. This includes monitoring Plan, Rolling Latest Best Estimates (RLBEs), and Actuals, collaborating with functional teams to set SG&A spending targets, and aligning them with financial data and landing expectations. You will also be responsible for Financial Reporting and Insights, where you will develop KPIs and metrics to measure demand forecasting accuracy, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Providing regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators and actionable insights to management will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you may support and/or lead the implementation of systems, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure timely completion of pre-work, UAT, and related matters. Any other assignments as determined by Commercial and/or Finance management will also be part of your responsibilities.,
