Job Title: Manager - Finance and Accounts (GST Specialist)

Location: Gurgaon

Position Overview:

The Manager - Finance and Accounts will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. The role requires a deep understanding of GST laws and procedures, as well as the ability to manage various accounting functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

GST Compliance and Management:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and other applicable returns) and maintain up-to-date records.
• Handle GST reconciliation, including input tax credit and output tax liability.
• Address GST queries, assessments, and notices from tax authorities and provide necessary documentation.
• Assist in GST audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and budgeting processes.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making.

Taxation and Compliance:

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, including TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with all financial and accounting regulations.

Internal Audits and Controls:

• Assist in the development and implementation of internal audit procedures.
• Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and consultants to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support senior management in financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and GST-related activities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices in financial and tax management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with a strong focus on GST compliance and management.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
