Manager Estimation

As a Project Estimation Manager, your role involves preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and project estimates within the specified Time Schedule. You will be responsible for sourcing quotations from contractors and creating Comparative Statement of Quotations (CSQ) to analyze the best offers. Ensuring that the BOQ is issued with accurate specifications and scope of works for the Contract and Purchase team is a key responsibility. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare BOQ & Estimate of Project and submit to HOD for approval - Source quotations and create CSQ for analysis of best offer - Issue BOQ with specifications & scope of works error-free - Verify requisitions from Site Engineer with estimated BOQ - Prepare Yearly Fund Flow and submit to Accounts department quarterly & yearly - Prepare monthly estimation reports of all sites by the 5th of every month - Monitor, coach, and motivate the team to achieve their KRAs - Review proposal specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings - Recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or material availability - Incorporate historical data into estimate figures and determine critical path schedule - Maintain accurate information on prices from suppliers for estimate figures - Attend project site meetings and monitor actual costs vs. estimated costs Qualification Required: - 12-15 years of experience - DCE/BE in Civil Engineering The company emphasizes the importance of Technical Skills & Knowledge such as Planning & Organizing, Communication & Interpersonal skills, Result Orientation, Flexibility, and Negotiation Skills.
