Job Title: Estimate Manager Location: Sinhagad Road, Pune Department: Pre-Construction / Estimating Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimate Manager to lead our estimating efforts for residential real estate construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, leading the estimating team, analysing project specifications, and ensuring competitive and comprehensive bid proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with deep knowledge of residential construction practices. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end estimating process for residential construction projects. Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs. Develop project budgets during various pre-construction phases, including conceptual, schematic, and design development stages. Lead and mentor a team of junior estimators and quantity surveyors. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary pricing and scope information. Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring accuracy and scope coverage. Maintain and update a historical cost database and unit pricing tools. Provide value engineering options to help optimize project costs without sacrificing quality. Identify project risks and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure estimates align with company goals, profitability targets, and market competitiveness. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with residential projects. Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and market rates. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and presentations. Familiarity with local permitting and regulatory requirements. Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator [CPE]) are a plus. Salary: Up to 8-9 Lacs/annum
