AsanEngineering Manageryou will:

• Managethe professional developmentfora team of up to12software engineers.
• Hire, grow, and mentor high performing teams.
• Provideleadershipintechnical design and architecture;determineservices we shoulduse and how theyshould beimplemented.
• Mentor engineers inside and outside the team.
• Voice your opinion on technical decisionsand build consensus.
• Model participation in a Scrum team andembracethe agile work model.
• Promote software engineering best practices.
• Be a go-to person for software engineers on your team and other teams, beingwilling to tacklethe hardproblems.
• Bea hands-on developer, implementing POCs and solutions.
• Help unblock technical issues andprovidegeneral directionto the team.
• Participateinallaspectsofthedevelopmentlifecycle:Ideation,Design,Build,TestandOperate.We embraceaDevOpsculture( youbuildit,yourunit );whilewehavededicated24x7level-1support engineers,youwillbecalledontoassistwithlevel-2support.
• WorkprimarilywithJava, NodeJS,React, .NET,AWSandAzurepubliccloud,Identityplatforms(Auth0,PingIdentity, Microsoft Azure AD B2C)and identity standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML,SCIM, etc.)
• Collaborate withengineeringmanagers, architects, scrum masters, software engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers and project managers to deliver phenomenal software.
• Demonstrateand modeltransparency and collaboration with teamsacross the company.
• Keepup-to-datewith emerging cloud technologytrends,especially inIdentity&AccessManagement.

About You

you'rea fit for the role ofEngineeringManagerifyou have:

• 10+years of experiencein Software Engineeringwith Java, .NET, or similar languages.
• ExperiencedevelopingRESTAPIs.
• Experience developingcloud-nativeapplications and services on Azure,AWSorGCP.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability toidentifyand resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelors degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3-4+ yearsofexperienceleading a team of Engineersand giving themdirectiononimplementationandbest practices.
• ExperiencewithamajorIdentityProvidersuchasForgeRock,Ping,Okta,orAuth0forWorkforceorCustomerIdentity andAccessManagement,andrelatedexperiencewith the OAuth2, OIDC, SAML and SCIM standards.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools using CloudFormation,TerraFormorGitOps.
