Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities across OSD & SVP facilities.
Ensure optimal uptime of plant equipment, utilities (HVAC, Purified Water System, AHUs, Compressors, Boilers, DG Sets, etc.), production machinery & cleanrooms.
Lead installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new equipment/utilities.
Develop, implement and monitor SOPs, maintenance logs, equipment history, calibration schedules, and spare inventory.
Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and projects teams for timely support and adherence to cGMP norms.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards USFDA, WHO, MHRA, EU, etc., during audits & inspections.
Drive energy conservation initiatives, engineering CAPEX projects, plant modifications, and continual improvement.
Manage engineering documentation URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, change controls, deviation, & CAPA related to equipment and utilities.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, electricians, technicians, and contractors; ensure safety work permits & training.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience in maintenance of pharmaceutical utilities and production equipment.
Knowledge of cGMP, regulatory guidelines & qualification lifecycle.

Behavioral Skills:

Strong leadership, communication & team management.
Planning, troubleshooting & decision-making skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
