EHS Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs in alignment with applicable regulations and industry standards. Define policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote a safe and sustainable work environment.Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Stay updated with changes in regulations and assess their impact on organizational operations. Develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans to address compliance gaps.Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess workplace hazards, risks, and potential environmental impacts. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute emergency response plans.Safety Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to promote awareness of environmental, health, and safety practices. Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and other training sessions for employees. Ensure that employees are knowledgeable about safety procedures and protocols.Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses. Identify root causes, analyze data, and develop preventive measures to avoid future incidents. Prepare incident reports and submit required documentation to regulatory agencies, if necessary.Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement. Develop corrective action plans based on audit findings and track their implementation. Ensure that corrective actions are completed within specified timelines.Environmental Sustainability: Implement initiatives to reduce environmental impact, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and pollution prevention. Monitor environmental performance indicators and track progress towards sustainability goals. Identify and implement sustainable practices and technologies.
