As a Distribution Center Supervisor, your primary responsibility is to provide guidance and supervision to ensure the distribution center achieves its goals, particularly in terms of budget and cost structure. Your duties include making workflow decisions, enhancing service levels and cost efficiency, supervising and motivating employees, implementing productivity and quality standards, resolving issues, contributing to strategic plans, and ensuring equipment maintenance. Adherence to safety regulations is paramount in all operations. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency in operational functions is required to apply knowledge effectively in various situations. Coaching and mentoring skills are essential to encourage individual growth and improve effectiveness.
