Manager, Creative Technology and Development

As a Manager, Creative Technology and Development at Synchrony, you will be responsible for utilizing HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code responsive email templates. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and building responsive email code using design files such as Figma, PSD, Indd, and XD - Modifying existing responsive email templates based on clients" requirements - Contributing to the modernization and evolution of the HTML templates - Performing quality checks and peer reviews by adhering to brand guidelines - Applying the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility - Developing high-quality and optimized HTML emails in line with company goals and objectives - Ensuring identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices - Coding, setting up, testing, and debugging ad hoc email templates with dynamic content - Proactively working with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency - Keeping up with industry standards and new best practices in email development Qualifications required for this role include: - A Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in advertising/digital marketing agencies and/or in-house digital creative teams; in lieu of a degree, 5 to 7 years of experience is required - Minimum 2+ years proficiency with HTML, CSS, table-based layouts, mobile-responsive design, and JavaScript coding - Minimum 2+ years enterprise-level experience with email and/or digital marketing platforms such as SFMC, Eloqua, Zeta Mail, or Epsilon PCM - General understanding of how Marketing supports business stakeholders - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality - Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively - Strong communication, critical thinking, and process documentation skills - Excellent organizational and coordination skills with a proactive approach to follow-up on requirements Desired skills and knowledge for the role include: - Advanced knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development, including responsive email design - Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite - Relevant experience utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Zeta Mail, or similar software - Technical understanding of platform-specific scripting languages and/or advanced JavaScript - Extensive experience with email testing tools such as Litmus - Understanding of dynamic content configuration based on segmentation and personalization techniques - Familiarity with generative AI, automation, and advanced technologies to streamline email coding - Willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly - Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with team members - Ability to professionally interact with key stakeholders throughout the development process This role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in advertising/digital marketing agencies and/or in-house digital creative teams. The work timings for this role offer Enhanced Flexibility and Choice in Synchrony India, with availability required between 06:00 AM Eastern Time and 11:30 AM Eastern Time.
