Manager (Climate Change & sustainability)

The position of Manager (Climate Change and Sustainability) based in New Delhi involves various responsibilities and tasks related to sustainable practices and climate change adaptation. As a Manager, your main responsibilities will include conducting research and data analysis on sustainable practices for building climate resilience, analyzing policies related to climate change at national and international levels, and researching the impacts of climate change on agriculture. You will also be involved in designing, implementing, and monitoring agriculture and climate change projects, as well as facilitating workshops and training sessions to enhance awareness among stakeholders. Additionally, you will need to provide technical assistance on climate-resilient agricultural practices, support the collection and analysis of data related to agriculture and climate resilience, and draft technical reports and presentations summarizing research findings for internal and external stakeholders. Monitoring relevant policies and international climate agreements to provide recommendations and contributing to the creation of climate action plans will also be part of your role. Key skills required for this position include project management experience within climate or sustainability sectors, ability to conduct research and analyze data, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate for this role should have a postgraduate degree in Sustainability or Environment, along with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in climate change or sustainability projects. Strong knowledge of climate change adaptation/mitigation, sustainability practices, and data analysis in agriculture and related sectors would be desirable for this position.,
