As the Manager Civil Procurement & Contracts, your primary responsibility will be to manage procurement activities and contracts for civil engineering projects. This entails sourcing materials, equipment, and services, negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and company policies. Your key responsibilities will include strategizing and implementing procurement plans that align with project objectives, preparing tender documents, evaluating supplier proposals, and negotiating terms. Additionally, you will be required to oversee vendor relationships, draft and administer civil construction contracts, and resolve any disputes or risks that may arise. Collaboration with engineering, finance, legal, and project teams to streamline procurement and contractual processes will be essential. You will be tasked with tracking procurement progress, costs, and performance, and providing reports to senior management.
