Job Summary

AWS DevOps Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage

  AWS cloud infrastructure

  with a focus on

  middleware services

  (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, EKS).
• Implement and maintain

  MongoDB Atlas

  or other cloud-based MongoDB solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and optimize

  CI/CD pipelines

  using

  AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD

  .
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using

  Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

  .
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using

  AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack

  .
• Ensure security best practices by implementing

  IAM policies, VPC configurations, encryption,certificate and compliance controls

  .
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage containerized environments using

  Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or AWS ECS

  .
• Perform

  database administration tasks

  , including backups, indexing, sharding, and performance tuning for MongoDB.

Preferred candidate profile

• 7+ years of hands-on experience

  in

  AWS DevOps

  with expertise in

  middleware services

  .
• Strong experience in

  MongoDB Cloud (Atlas) administration

  , including deployment, scaling, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  tools like

  Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

  .
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD),Bitbucket.
• Strong scripting skills in

  Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  .
• Knowledge of

  containerization & orchestration

  (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Familiarity with

  monitoring & logging tools

  (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Understanding of

  networking, security, and compliance

  in AWS (VPC, IAM, Security Groups, KMS).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• MongoDB Certified DBA or Developer certification.
• Experience with

  serverless architectures

  (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
• Knowledge of

  multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
