 Manager - Business Loans - Indirect 
 Job Overview 
The Manager - Business Loans - Indirect is responsible for overseeing and leading the indirect business loans division. This role focuses on managing relationships with third-party partners, ensuring the effective origination and processing of business loans through indirect channels, and achieving growth and profitability targets. The manager ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies while delivering outstanding service to partners and clients.  Key Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage relationships with brokers, dealers, and other third-party loan originators to generate new business loan opportunities.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of indirect business loan applications, from origination and underwriting to approval and funding.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, performance metrics, and productivity goals for the indirect business loans team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to business lending and indirect loan channels.
  • Evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency, customer service, and profitability within the indirect business loans segment.
  • Work closely with risk management and credit teams to maintain portfolio quality and mitigate potential losses.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members and third-party partners.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business loan performance, pipeline, and market trends to senior management.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting indirect business lending.

  •  Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business lending, with at least 2 years in indirect or third-party channels.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan products, underwriting, and credit risk principles.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams or business units.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and assess business creditworthiness.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  •  Work Environment
