Job Description

Role Overview: As an AM/DM - Business Improvement at IDEMIA, your main focus will be on optimizing the interconnected components of a manufacturing system using Lean Manufacturing tools. You will work at the NSEZ in Noida, collaborating with a diverse team from 5 continents and 100+ languages. Your role is crucial in driving innovation and performance through efficient utilization of production sites and personnel. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and sustain methods for efficient utilization of production sites and personnel using standard industry KPIs such as OEE, UPH, cycle time, yield, etc. - Develop and implement plans for layout modifications and revisions to operating methods. - Support operations to achieve budgeted savings in transformation cost and identify cost-saving opportunities in day-to-day business and periodic projects. - Support the rollout of key corporate competitiveness levers identified in the Value Creation Plan during budget preparation. - Implement lean physical and information flows on the shop floor to ease production management and increase site service level. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six-Sigma methodologies like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Single Minute Exchange of Dies, Total Productive Maintenance, Kaizen, etc. - Lead standardize work revision, provide process documentation, training, and operating instructions. - Implement and support cultural change across the organization to embed quality into processes. - Design and implement relevant learning and development programs for continuous improvement tools. - Engage in upstream change management activity and lead projects of continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen workshops. - Work independently with general supervision, reinforcing existing standards and contributing to building missing ones. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. - Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
