Manager/ AVP - M&A

Role Overview: You will be responsible for deal identification, sourcing, execution, and closure of private equity, venture capital, M&A transactions. Your role will involve preparing pitch books such as IM, Teasers, Presentations, etc. You are expected to have a thorough understanding of financial accounting, including the inter-relationship between key financial statements. Additionally, you should be able to build integrated financial models from scratch, audit or amend working models, and be familiar with standardized financial metrics. Your knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals and valuation techniques will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, source, execute, and close private equity, venture capital, M&A transactions - Prepare pitch books including IM, Teasers, Presentations, etc. - Understand financial accounting and the inter-relationship between key financial statements - Build integrated financial models from scratch and audit or amend working models - Demonstrate familiarity with standardized financial metrics - Apply knowledge of corporate finance fundamentals and valuation techniques - Understand concepts such as Enterprise Value, Net Debt, Equity Value, time value of money, net present value, internal rate of return, portfolio theory, CAPM, WACC, etc. - Lead due diligence process and ensure closure - Interact with potential investors, investment bankers, legal firms, due diligence agencies, etc. for successful transaction closure - Negotiate with Investors/Lenders on term sheets and Definitive agreements Qualifications Required: - Team player with the ability to multi-task, be flexible, and work under pressure - Self-starter with good analytical skills - Thorough understanding of financial statements - Thorough understanding of business valuation methods - Networking abilities to build relationships with clients and investors - Proficiency in spoken and written English,
