Manager, Ad Ops Technical Operations

As the Manager, Ad Ops Technical Operations at Synchrony, your role is crucial in ensuring the correct deployment and maintenance of tracking tags/pixels/APIs across websites and apps to enable post-campaign analysis, optimization, and personalization. You will collaborate with various teams to guarantee accurate tagging and tracking architecture, perform A/B testing, diagnose and resolve issues related to tag firing, and execute quality assurance across client websites. Your responsibilities also include managing technical documentation, training others on related materials, and handling special projects as assigned. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Services, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in Marketing. You must have at least 2+ years of experience in implementing client-side and server-side tagging within tag management systems like Tealium and Google Tag Manager. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, JSON, and DOM manipulation is essential, along with a solid understanding of marketing technology landscape and experience with APIs for server-to-server tagging. Desired characteristics for this role include a solid knowledge of the ad operations media landscape, strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, experience in Agile project management, and familiarity with project management software such as MS Project and AtTask/Workfront. Experience with tools like Tealium's server-side solution, Event Stream, or Postman for API-based platforms would be advantageous. You should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in the BFSI sector or a Media agency. The work timings for this position are from 05:00 PM to 02:00 AM (IST).
