Job Description

As a Management Trainee in Sourcing and Procurement at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency and improving processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating purchase orders, expediting as necessary, and managing post-order activities. - Coordinating inventory counts, adjustments, repair, and warranty processes. - Scheduling and revising shipments to meet demand. - Communicating and aligning with suppliers on forecasts, incoming materials, and inventory positions. - Handling complaints and driving resolutions through teamwork. - Clarifying invoice-related queries with suppliers and internal partners. - Relaying demand fluctuations and supplier performance to GF Sourcing teams. - Ensuring the supply for all assigned materials, initiating escalations when needed. - Collaborating with GF Sourcing and Inventory teams to ensure planning alignment. - Acting as an interface between suppliers and internal partners. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum qualifications: - Academic qualification: Degree in Science/Commerce/Engineering. - Very good knowledge of French, minimum C2 level. - Sound knowledge of English with good written communication skills. - Basic understanding of planning-procurement/purchasing processes in the manufacturing industry. - Experience in handling planning and procurement of direct materials. - Practical knowledge of Oracle ERP/SAP modules (Production planning or Material Management module as an end user). - Basic knowledge of MS-Office. - Proven experience in a related field. Preferred qualifications: - Previous experience in a customer service role (chat/email/voice). - Effective probing and analyzing skills. - Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach. - Proficiency in written English with a neutral English accent. - Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts.
