Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Management:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and maintain a database of approved vendors. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiation & Contracting:
Lead the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes for the company. Ensure all contracts comply with legal and company standards.
Purchase Order Management:
Create and manage purchase orders, track their status, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to understand their procurement needs and ensure a smooth purchasing process.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and ethical guidelines. Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions and vendor performance.
