Management Accountant

The client, based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Management Accountant to join their team in Dammam. Candidates who are open to relocating from India to Saudi Arabia are encouraged to apply. As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include maintaining accounting records, finalizing accounts, preparing financial statements on a monthly and annual basis, managing VAT returns filings, and serving as a primary point of contact for financial and accounting inquiries from other departments. You will also be responsible for conducting financial audits, collaborating with internal and external auditors as needed, managing relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities, and safeguarding the organization's confidential information. Additionally, you will interact with lawyers and provide reports to senior management, while engaging with various external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, lawyers, the CFO, HR, and Admin departments across the group. The ideal candidate for this role should be a CA passed professional with experience in management accounts, preferably with 8 to 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the electronic/electrical sector. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in general accounting, P&L, and BS finalization is required. You should possess a strong understanding of financial statements, books of accounts, and financial analysis, along with the ability to coordinate with auditors for financial submissions, VAT, and corporate tax matters. Experience working under a Chartered accountant or in a similar role is preferred, as well as knowledge of legal aspects related to contracts and the ability to follow up with lawyers on legal matters. Additionally, proficiency in managing general receivables, old dues, and bad debts is essential for success in this position.,
