Job Description

Job Summary:

Male Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

Assist doctors in
andrology-related procedures
(e.g., semen analysis, hormone therapy, minor surgical procedures, erectile dysfunction treatments, etc.).
Provide
pre- and post-procedure care
to patients.
Educate patients on
treatment plans, medication usage, and follow-up care
.
Monitor vital signs, administer injections, IV infusions, and medications as prescribed.
Support in conducting
diagnostic tests and sample collection
(blood, urine, semen, swabs).
Ensure
confidentiality and sensitivity
in handling mens health and sexual health concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date
nursing notes, medical charts, and patient records
.
Assist in patient counseling sessions when required.
Ensure infection control practices and cleanliness in procedure rooms.
Coordinate with laboratory and pharmacy for smooth patient care.
Handle patient queries, provide reassurance, and maintain professional decorum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Sc. Nursing
(with valid Nursing Council registration).
Minimum
1–3 years of clinical experience
(experience in urology, andrology, or reproductive medicine preferred).
Strong knowledge of male reproductive health, patient handling, and basic emergency care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle
sensitive topics
with empathy and discretion.
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and hospital software.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Male nurse (due to patient comfort in sensitive procedures).
Patient-friendly, professional, and empathetic in approach.
Willingness to work in a specialty men’s health setup.
