Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mysore for a Malayalam Proofreader. The Malayalam Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing and enhancing text content to ensure grammatical accuracy, proper spelling, and adherence to language norms. The role includes proofreading and editing Malayalam language materials, ensuring quality translations, and consulting with the content team to maintain linguistic consistency.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Malayalam spelling, grammar, and language structure
• Experience in proofreading and editing for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Proficient in Malayalam-to-English and English-to-Malayalam translation with attention to context and tone
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in language editing
• Previous experience in content editing, translation, or similar roles is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Malayalam, Linguistics, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
