Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment as per SOPs.
  • Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic system repairs; coordinate with vendors for specialized services.

Equipment & Technical Expertise

  • Ensure calibration and optimal performance of manufacturing and packing equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with Blister Packing Machines (BQS), Hi-Cart machines, FBP, compression, coating, and blending equipment.
  • Support installation, validation, and optimization of new equipment.

GMP Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate maintenance, breakdown, and calibration records.
  • Ensure adherence to GMP standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to SOP improvements.

Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement preventive measures to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues.

Safety & Environmental Compliance

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling procedures.
  • Identify and report safety hazards; maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
  • Participate in safety trainings and ensure regulatory compliance.
