Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Fragrant Nature Paravur, Kollam, you play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning, repair, and upkeep of all facilities, equipment, and systems within the resort/hotel premises. Your dedication to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and operational environment directly contributes to enhancing the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical equipment. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or departments. - Repair or replace defective parts and systems as required to ensure seamless operations. - Maintain and repair guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and back-of-house spaces. - Safely operate and store all tools and equipment for efficient use. - Document all work performed and promptly report major issues to the Maintenance Manager. - Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). - Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for events, meetings, or seasonal needs. - Collaborate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. - Monitor utility usage and recommend energy-saving measures to promote sustainability. - Keep maintenance areas and workshops clean, organized, and well-maintained. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in maintenance or a related field preferred. - Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems. - Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs efficiently. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Willingness to work flexible shifts, including day, morning, and rotational shifts. - Commitment to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.,
