Maintenance (Surface Treatment)

Role & responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections, servicing, and maintenance of surface treatment equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in surface treatment machinery.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external contractors as required.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability and extend machine life.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment performance in maintenance management systems.
• Work closely with production teams to plan maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure adherence to EHS, ENMS, and OSHAS standards during all maintenance tasks.
• Keep updated with latest technologies, tools, and best practices in surface treatment processes and equipment.
• Ensure proper usage, upkeep, and calibration of tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.

Qualification:

• BE/Diploma/B. Tech or any relevant field

Experience:

• 2 to 10 years in maintenance of surface treatment or related industrial equipment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of surface treatment processes and equipment.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and documentation.
• Knowledge of EHS, ENMS, and OSHAS guidelines.

• Machine uptime and reduction in breakdown frequency.
• Timeliness and effectiveness of preventive maintenance execution.

• Responsiveness to troubleshooting and repair needs.
• Coordination effectiveness with production and external service providers.
