Job Description

Duties to be performed

  • Oversee all equipment performance through history cards/ break down report & provide info regarding the same to manager.
  • Supervise maintenance of kitchen equipment such as Dough sheeters, ovens, fryers, grillers, refrigeration units, dishwashers, mixers, HVAC system, compressors, ETP, WTP, cold rooms etc.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during maintenance work.
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment servicing like crate washing, dish washing, blast , tempering machine, deck oven, sheeters etc
  • Assign tasks to maintenance staff and monitor completion.
  • Maintain logs of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Report recurring issues to Maintenance Manager and suggest improvements.
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Follow the process set by engineering team like Work permits, LOTO, SOPs.
  • Maintain daily inward & outward of equipment's / spares used or new spares received
  • Prepare works pending from various department for discussion with Production Head.
  • Check & close the tickets in CMMS system, Monitor pending activities and complete the tasks within TAT.
  • Determine cleanliness by inspection of engineering areas, workshop, chiller area panel areas ensure that all the areas are always clean and tidy.
  • Communicate and liaise with all staff to ensure that all the works allocated to them are done on time.
  • Implement training workshop at least 4 topics per month.
  • Assist HOD for other work., wherever required.
  • Willing to work by his own hands as per the need.
  • Co-ordinate with contactors and supervise the work.
  • Supervise AMC vendor and review AMC work schedules.
  • Keep track of PM Schedules and implement the same and maintain a record of the same.
  • Coordinate with outlet managers for work to be done at the outlets and keep an update on the same.
  • Experience of handling maintenance of various equipments like

    Rotary Ovens/ Electrical ovens, Planetary mixers, Cold rooms, ETP, DG, Compressor, APFC Panel, HVAC system, dough sheeters, proving chambers etc.
