As an onshore maintenance specialist, you will support the safe and efficient execution of maintenance work by ensuring activity readiness. Responsibilities will include assisting maintenance techs with troubleshooting equipment issues, developing local maintenance scopes and work procedures, actively participating in RCFA’s, investigating pressing day to day equipment issues and making recommendations for improvements, following onshore repairs in the shops, site visits and supporting continuous improvements to the preventative maintenance program
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving activity readiness by supporting the safe, effective and efficient preparation of work packs.
Assisting in scope development for TAR, Major Repairs, complex corrective work and campaigns
Assisting maintenance techs with troubleshooting equipment
Utilizing predictive technologies and condition monitoring to recommend equipment maintenance schedule e.g. using PI or Palantir tools
Participates in the continuous improvement of Preventative Maintenance Program and ensuring appropriate elements are transitioned into the CMMS.
Responsible for planning and coordinating low-complexity Site Constrained Activities, flaring related maintenance and shutdown support. ensuring timely execution with minimal disruption to operations.
Own certain areas in the plant and be responsible for maintenance, planning and oversight of all items including safety reliability and upkeep of the equipment in assigned area.
Coordinate meeting with vendors, site and participate actively in site readiness meeting.
Ensures that materials required for maintenance are correctly specified, catalogued, and available in the system.
Develops Change Order (CO) task lists that define the steps, tools, and resources needed for specific maintenance activities.
Actively participate in RCFAs
Act as the crucial link between the integration & maintenance and facilities support squad.
Follow and support Global Work Management processes and standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience in Maintenance troubleshooting, planning, material management
Awareness of Maintenance related codes, standards, and best practices.
Strong experience in SAP/CMMS systems (SAP-PM, FIORI) for work order planning and tracking.
Ability to estimate materials, forecast labor and costs, and track execution progress.
Familiarity with digital tools for job planning and scheduling.
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with cross-functional teams, vendors, and offshore personnel.
Strong stakeholder management and coordination ability.
